Photographer Trina Merry uses the female body as her canvas and New York City as her background to create a unique style of art.
The portraits range from iconic locations such as the Brooklyn Bridge to vibrant Coney Island.
These images show the beauty of the human body as it blends into the city.
The attention to detail is phenomenal allowing the model to become a part of the architecture and background through various poses.
“My surface is living, breathing human beings, making this highly relevant & immediate. I use non-toxic hypoallergenic paint applied with a brush or airbrush. The painting is temporary like a Tibetan sand painting, beginning to [shift] into another work as soon as I stop painting, changing texture and color.”
