Life is a mixture of sadness, thrills, happiness, twist of lemon and rare out-of-your-mind-crazy situations that nobody can quite explain. One of those situations is the rare, but lovely friendship of a dog, George, and his new pal, the Duck.
A couple of weeks ago, George was just an old dog who had lost his friend of 12 years, Blackie, and was depressed ever since.
On the anniversary of Blackie’s death, something changed: a new friend waddled his way into George’s life. Jacquie Litton, the owner, said: “George has been heart broken and has grieved with anxiety so bad that he has almost died twice. We have no idea where this duck came from but he sure does love George and since the duck has arrived George has not cried one time. It is strange for a Duck just to appear at our house and be attached to your dog, and even more strangely the anniversary week of Blackie’s passing.” This friendship is literally saving lives.

Earlier this month, out of the blue, the Duck appeared, and George found a new meaning of life in the bird.
