Penguin the Magpie was rescued as a baby by a boy named Noah and now the strange little bird has become part of the family. It comes and goes like a first year college student living an hour away from home, and is probably the most chill bird of all time. By the looks of Penguin’s Instagram, the bird seems to be a part of every aspect of the family’s life, helping with cooking, going on adventures, and lying on the couch. Photographer Cameron Bloom makes sure to capture all these moments and has amassed a following of over 100k users.
But the story doesn’t stop there. In the soon-to-be-published book, it is explained that, “Cameron’s wife, Sam, suffers a near fatal fall that leaves her paralysed and deeply depressed. Into their lives comes Penguin, an injured magpie chick abandoned after she fell from her nest.”
