We’ve all been there. That unbelievably mind numbing feeling as we glance over at the calendar on our desk, carefully examining how many more weeks we have until our next vacation. For many, vacation means travelling, travelling means happiness and happiness equates to a better, more fulfilled life. However, the ultimate job is one that you wouldn’t need a vacation from. And that’s what this couple has.
For those of you who are active users of Instagram, you’ve most likely heard of Jack Morris and Lauren Bullen, the couple who makes money travelling all over the world and taking gorgeous, breathtaking pictures. According to his official website, 26-year-old Jack Morris worked as a carpet cleaner for five years before he began travelling professionally. According to her official website, 24-year-old Lauren Bullen was a self taught photographer who eventually utilized her skills to travel professionally as well. The two met in Fiji in March 2016, immediately establishing an interpersonal bond. The couple has been travelling together ever since, their first destination being Bali.
The couple travels the world full time, receiving sponsorship from brands and tourism boards who pay them to promote products and locations via their photos on Instagram and on their websites. The most Morris has been paid for one sponsored post is $9,000 USD, with Bullen raking in $7,500 USD. Morris states on his website that he chooses to promote products or locations that he “truly believes in”, giving the couple a kind of personal integrity against any corporate pressures or demands.
Morris and Bullen have visited over 45 countries including Cambodia, Dubai, Indonesia and Morocco. Their impressive and detailed pictures are taken with their own equipment, edited using the same software and are taken just after the sunrise in which ever country they happen to be visiting. Their incredible lifestyle of travelling combined with financial compensation and their companionship is remarkable to put it lightly.
