Artist Kim Keever turns Mother Nature into a fantasy with the use of water, paint and a fish tank.
These unique works of art use a 200-gallon fish tank that is filled with water.
Keever uses all kinds of materials to create a scene, which is then placed behind or in front of the fish tank.
Once the scene is set, Keever takes paint and carefully injects it into the water creating majestic cloud formations and colourful swirls.
Keever gains inspiration through travelling and exploring the earth.
“Wherever I travel, I always imagine what it would have been like before the area was populated.”
He aims to portray this idea of life without humanity through his artwork. “It is my intention to present the landscape as beauty itself, without reference to man and industry.”
