Split images—or over-unders—are a popular type of photograph that depicts both an underwater element and an above water element. This unique type of image showcases the connection between the two different worlds.
Some of the shots fit together like puzzle pieces, while others show the contrast between the sea and the shore. Either way, all of the images are incredibly stunning.
Recently, BoredPanda opened a submissions forum for photographers to submit their own split images, and users can vote on their favourite ones.
