Tired of working in an office? Craving the outdoors? Tree planting could be your calling. Planting trees is becoming a popular way to earn some extra cash and spend your summer outdoors.
Tree planting is becoming a worldwide phenomenon. You can spend your summers living out your hippie dreams, and saving the planet one tree at a time. Tree planting is a wonderful opportunity to embrace your adventurous side and experience nature firsthand.
Typically, workers get paid between 8 and 20 cents for each tree they plant. The workweek generally lasts four days, and by the 4th night, you can look forward to a huge bonfire and a sip of beer with your fellow tree planters to let loose after a hard week’s work.
Rather than working your typical summer job, tree planting reminds us that the chance to see the earth’s beauty is often obscured by our busy lives.
Tree planting not only helps the earth, but it helps the individual. You can step away from fast-paced society and the constant hum of technology and learn to enjoy the simple joys of nature.
Eventually you realize the impact of your actions on a larger scale: each seedling will one day become a powerful source of oxygen and a majestic addition to the landscape.

Tree planting allows you to live purely in the moment: something that’s rare in today’s culture. It’s a liberating way of life that lets you disconnect with society in favour of reconnecting with nature.
