Travis Burke’s van is one beautiful beast.
Though it dates backs to 1994 and spent years collecting rust in his grandmother’s yard, today, it’s a bonafide symbol of North American exploration. An adventure-mobile of unparalleled status. Twenty-eight years old and hailing from Oceanside, California, it took Burke five months and about $8,000 to turn the entire continent into his backyard. With solar panels, closets, a mini-fridge, microwave and sink, the only thing the van is missing is a foosball table.
Burke has made a career out of producing content for brands and sponsors, driving around to capture some of the world’s most fabled spots and talented action sports athletes—all while sleeping out of his grandma’s old junk-van. Burke uses the inside of the van as an office, where he edits some of the most incredible travel photography currently circulating the field.
With over 60,000 miles under his belt, Burke has amassed a staggering documentation of modern road life.

“Light from the stars takes years to reach us, therefore some of the stars we are looking at are already dead. Don’t take them for granted, get out there and enjoy!” – Travis Burke
