After all, tech-industry experts have suggested that porn is one of the key factors in driving consumers’ technology use. It seems many consider adult content when purchasing new electronics. Look at the history of our technological developments, from Guttenberg’s printing press, the VHS and recording footage wherever you wanted, to 50 Shades and a small platform called the internet. What do they all have in common? The driving force behind all these advancements wasn’t to better humankind but rather a desire to see each other’s junk in the highest resolution possible. This trend will likely continue for virtual reality.

Only the future will tell what effect VR porn will have on dating and sexuality altogether. Will it revolutionize long distance relationships or end real-life romance with online affairs?
