For many of you who aren’t familiar with the underground graffiti world, it is as much an extreme sport as it is an art. Choque Photos is friends with many graffiti writers and captured some amazing action shots of the fearless artists in Sao Paulo.
This distinctive style of graffiti is called Pixação, where artists compete to paint in high and inaccessible places using skills such as free climbing, parkour, and abseiling to spray paint spots that make you think, “How the fuck did they do that?” It is by far, the most bold and aggressive form of graffiti in the world.
