Have you tried the new yoga challenge? People all over the Internet have been attempting difficult yoga poses in a pair of leggings, either on their own or with a friend or partner.
I have chosen to share some of the funniest yoga challenge videos I could find. Hopefully they will inspire you to take this challenge, or simply put a smile on your face. Enjoy!
Yoga is good for you. Whether you can master a pose, or not, you’re reaping its tremendous benefits. Don’t be hard on yourself if you’re “terrible” at the yoga challenge. There is no right or wrong way of attempting yoga. It’s about surrendering yourself to the pose and living in the moment. That’s what is at the heart of #yogachallengeleggings.
It’s important to remember that there are no prerequisites for yoga. You don’t have to be thin or in shape to do it, and it’s certainly not reserved for flexible people. This challenge is about letting loose and looking at yoga is an unconventional way. Forget the incense and dim lights (although there is nothing wrong with either of those things), this challenge is about taking yoga to the streets! At the beach, in your backyard, outside the movie theatre – wherever. The trickier your environment, the more fun the challenge.
The first step is to go out and buy a pair of leggings. Don’t worry, they don’t have to be anything fancy. Once you have that, it’s time to look up some yoga poses and find a flat surface. If you’re able to, grab a friend or loved one to join the challenge. It’s what makes it more difficult. It’s also a great way of bonding and releasing endorphins. At the end of it, you’ll feel revived and closer to whomever you’re attempting the challenge with.
Go ahead, I dare you to take the yoga challenge. If anything, at least you’ll have some fun!
