When it comes to aesthetics there’s something innately beautiful about the female body in particular. Not to undermine the rough hairy landscape of the male body—perhaps it just doesn’t translate as well behind the camera.
Anton Belovodchenko uses black and white photography and strategic poses to illustrate the power and grace of the human form. By illuminating the naked flesh Belovodchenko highlights each unique muscle movement and contortion. There is power in grace. Strength in tenderness. Sometimes a new lens can reinvigorate the beauty of a familiar form.
